Welcome to Ride by iPakket, a mobility service operated by iPakket Corporation.
These Terms and Conditions explain how our services work, what we expect from riders, and what riders can expect from us. By creating an account, unlocking a scooter, e-bike, vehicle, or using any Ride by iPakket service, you agree to follow these Terms.
Please read them carefully before riding.
To use Ride by iPakket, you must:
Be at least 18 years old or meet any higher age requirement required by local law. Provide accurate account information. Use a valid government-issued ID, passport, driver’s license, or other legally accepted identification when requested. Keep your account secure and not allow anyone else to use it.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. If someone else uses your account or unlocks a device through your profile, you may be responsible for any charges, damage, or violations connected to that use.
Before starting a ride, the app will display the applicable price, which may include:
By adding a payment method, you authorize Ride by iPakket to charge your account for rides, fees, penalties, and any other amounts related to your use of the service.
If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until the balance is paid.
Additional fees may apply for improper parking, damage, misuse, loss, theft, recovery, or failure to properly end a ride. These fees are explained in the Additional Fees section below.
Ride by iPakket devices are provided for personal transportation only.
You agree to:
Not use a device for racing, stunts, towing, deliveries unless authorized, commercial use, or any unsafe activity. Some areas may be limited by geofencing. This means the app may reduce speed, prevent parking, or restrict riding in certain zones. You are responsible for following these restrictions.
You must properly end your ride through the app. A ride is not considered complete until the app confirms that it has ended.
Devices must be parked upright in an approved or designated parking area, away from sidewalks, ramps, driveways, entrances, fire hydrants, roads, emergency access points, and private property.
If a ride is not properly ended, charges may continue. Improper parking may also result in additional fees.
Your safety and the safety of others come first.
You agree not to ride:
Helmet use is strongly encouraged at all times and may be required by local law. You are responsible for knowing and following helmet laws in your area.
Before starting a ride, you should quickly inspect the device.
Check for visible damage, low battery, brake issues, loose parts, flat tires, or anything that may make the device unsafe.
If something looks wrong, do not ride. Report the issue through the app or by contacting support attaching an evidence, our team will take care of it.
By starting a ride, you confirm that you have checked the device and believe it is safe to use.
If you are involved in an accident, you should first make sure everyone is safe and seek medical help if needed.
You must report accidents, injuries, device damage, theft, or technical issues to Ride by iPakket as soon as possible through the app or by contacting support.
If the device becomes unsafe during a ride, stop using it immediately and contact your local support.
From the moment you unlock a device until the ride is properly ended, you are responsible for that device.
You may be responsible for costs related to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts for unsafe use, fraud, unpaid balances, repeated violations, or misuse of our services.
If a device is lost, stolen, abandoned, intentionally damaged, or not returned properly, you may be charged up to the full replacement value of the device.
Intentional damage, tampering, vandalism, or unauthorized use may result in account termination and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Ride by iPakket works to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that devices will always be available, charged, or accessible in every area.
Service may be limited or unavailable due to weather, maintenance, city restrictions, events, emergencies, software issues, safety concerns, or operational needs.
We may move, disable, remove, or rebalance devices at any time.
We collect and use personal information only as needed to provide, operate, improve, and protect our services.

Marketing messages may be sent only where permitted and can be canceled or unsubscribed from at any time.

You may request deletion of your Ride by iPakket account and associated personal data by emailing or processing it into the app.

Once your identity is verified, we will process your request within 7 business days, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, safety, tax, fraud prevention, dispute, or regulatory purposes.
Once deleted, your account and related information may not be recoverable.
Using electric scooters, e-bikes, vehicles, and shared mobility services involves risk.
By using Ride by iPakket, you understand and accept that accidents, injuries, property damage, road hazards, weather conditions, mechanical issues, other vehicles, pedestrians, and unexpected events may occur.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ride by iPakket and iPakket Corporation are not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, claims, or expenses arising from your use of the service, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Ride by iPakket, iPakket Corporation, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, affiliates, and representatives from claims, damages, fines, losses, costs, or expenses caused by:
Additional fees may apply when a user violates parking, safety, service area, or device care rules.
Charged when a device is parked in a way that blocks sidewalks, driveways, entrances, ramps, roads, emergency access, private property, or pedestrian movement.
Fee: Up to $90
Charged when a device is parked in a restricted or prohibited area.
Fee: Up to $80
Charged when a device is used, left, or abandoned outside the approved service area.
Fee: Up to $150
Charged when Ride by iPakket must recover a device due to improper parking, abandonment, misuse, or leaving the service area.
Fee: Up to $95
Charged when a device is damaged during a user’s rental period due to misuse, negligence, vandalism, or failure to follow these Terms.
This may include damage to the frame, tires, brakes, battery, electronics, lock, display, cables, or any other component.
Fee: Up to the full repair or replacement cost
Charged when a device is lost, stolen, not returned, abandoned, or not properly ended during a user’s rental period.
Fee: Up to full replacement value, up to $800
If a ride is not properly ended through the app, charges may continue until the ride is closed or the device is recovered.
Additional recovery or service fees may apply.
Ride by iPakket may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if we believe there has been:
Termination of an account does not remove responsibility for unpaid balances, damages, fees, or claims connected to prior use.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make important changes, we may notify users through the app, website, or email.
Continued use of Ride by iPakket after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States
Any dispute related to these Terms or the use of Ride by iPakket services shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in where the service was provided.
